Suriya Senthilkumar
I began dance at the age of 8 and since then, Bharathanatyam has been a defining part of my life. Dance practices have always been something to look forward too after a long or stressful day. I am incredibly grateful to have dance to distract myself from any chaos that may be going on in my life. As a sophomore studying electrical and computer engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, I am excited to continue dancing and further perfecting this art form through college and beyond. Other than Bharathanatyam, some of my other hobbies include drawing and reading. On this special occasion, I seek the blessings of God, my guru, and my family and friends. Thank you all for accompanying me on my dance journey.
